Description The Captain follows Willi Herold (Max Hubacher), a German army deserter who stumbles across an abandoned Nazi captain's uniform during the last, desperate weeks of the Third Reich. Newly emboldened by the allure of a suit that he stole only to stay warm, Willi discovers that many Germans will follow the leader, whosoever that happens to be. A parade of fresh atrocities follow in the self-declared captain's wake, and serve as a profound reminder of the consequences of social conformity and untrammeled political power. Simultaneously a historical docudrama, a tar-black comedy, and a sociological treatise, The Captain presents fascism as a pathetic pyramid scheme, a system to be gamed by the most unscrupulous and hollow-souled.

This is a movie about the Holocaust. And not the Holocaust in the sense of the holocaust. It is about the lives of the German soldiers, who lost their lives in the war and the people they left behind, who had to live with the memories of the death of their loved ones. I'm not sure if this movie is really about the holocaust, but it does provide some very interesting insights about the lives of the people who were part of the SS and the people who were German POWs in the concentration camps. The movie is based on the book "The Winter War: The War on the Eastern Front" by Joseph Bishara, who was the US Ambassador to Germany. This movie does a good job of bringing out the differences between the lives of the Germans and the people they left behind. The war scenes are also quite well done, as are the German soldiers who are shown as being more cold-hearted than the SS soldiers. The movie also provides a lot of insights about the politics of the time, such as the way in which the Germans handled the Soviet Union and how they would deal with the Jews. The movie is also very well-written and the acting is very good. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was more of the German soldiers, but this movie does a good job of showing the German soldiers in a good light. There are some scenes that are very upsetting, such as the one where one of the German soldiers tells the SS men in charge that they should have killed all the Jews, but the SS men say that they are going to be punished for what they did. I was also very upset that the SS men were shown as being Nazis. I'm not sure how this is portrayed in the movie, but it certainly doesn't feel like that in the movie.

It's an interesting premise that in a battle between two armies, the German army could have taken the initiative and inflicted an even greater damage on the enemy. The concept is clever and it is very reminiscent of one of the more famous movies about the Second World War, "All Quiet On the Western Front". In fact, this is the very first film I have seen in this genre and I must say I was very impressed. It is a slow moving film that is not about the action but the human feelings of the soldiers. The acting is superb and I would have liked the director to spend more time on the characters. I think the actors should have been more focused on the main character, Sergeant Ferdinand Muller. He is the main character of the story and he is an excellent actor. He is the main character that makes the film work. However, I would have liked to see more character development in the characters and less time spent on the soldiers. The way the film is directed is excellent. The cinematography is superb and the colors are also great. The movie was made in 1974 and I believe it was shot in a very authentic way. The music is also very good. The movie is quite long but it was worth it. The way the film is told is also very interesting and it is very interesting to see how the events unfold. It is a pity that this film was made at a time when the Nazis were so successful at what they were doing. This film shows that the Nazis were capable of doing horrible things to the people they were occupying and it is a pity that they did not realize how evil they were. This movie is very good and I recommend it to anyone who likes historical films.
