I have to admit that this film is about as great as I have ever seen it. I have never read a Hans Christian Anderson novel, but the character of Captain Andersson is one of the best I have ever seen. He is very real, and even though he is a real-life Captain, he is also a character that you can really feel and sympathize with. As for the plot, the film really focuses on the relationship between Andersson and his wife and how the Captain feels about his wife's departure from him. However, this is only half of the film, and the second half is where it really gets interesting. This part is great, because you really feel for the Captain's emotions. He is very sensitive, and he really shows this through the emotions he feels towards his family. His family is very important to him, and this is something that he is trying to show in this film. Also, in the middle of the film, Andersson must decide whether or not to risk his life to save his family, and he must make his decision quickly. This part of the film really shows his character, and you can really feel the emotions that he is going through. I also really enjoyed the fact that it focused on the "interesting" and "unusual" character, rather than the usual main characters. There are many great performances, such as John Hurt, Billy Zane, and the amazing Lena Headey, who was very memorable in this film. Also, there were some very amazing actors in this film, such as Peter Stormare, Edward Norton, and Fred Ward. Overall, this film is very great, and I highly recommend it to anyone. If you haven't seen this film yet, I suggest you give it a chance. I give it a 10 out of 10.
