The Cured is a strange little film that doesn't really have a single storyline, it is just a collection of scenes that are shot in a very odd way. The Cured, a female convict who escaped from a prison in the remote Irish countryside, has just been released from prison, and is looking for work, and the only job she has is in a bakery. Unfortunately, the place she works in is owned by a mysterious man who has a fascination with cake, and is having an affair with her. When the police investigate, they find that the man is a schizophrenic, and is causing havoc in the town. After the baker is assaulted, a whole different world opens up to the police, as they begin to uncover the secrets of the town and the baker. This film is a work of art, and is a unique experience, and is well worth watching. The film has a very unusual look, and it is quite disturbing at times, and the plot and action is very well put together. There is no real clear storyline to the film, it is just a collection of scenes, and the characters are very much underdeveloped. The acting in the film is quite good, but is not something that I can say I found particularly memorable. The acting is very good, but there are a few characters that I found didn't have much depth, and they were just a few of the characters. The Cured is a film that I would recommend to those who like the odd and bizarre, as the film is very different to anything else I have seen, and it is also very disturbing at times, but I do not recommend it for people with sensitive stomachs.
