The film "Kill the Pig" is based on a graphic novel from the late 1990's which is highly respected in the horror/gore community. It is a satire on this genre, showing that "The Spoils of War" and "Kill the Pig" are fictionalized accounts of real atrocities committed by the Japanese. The film follows the investigation of a murder case, as well as the investigation of an American journalist who is hired by a local magazine to investigate and get information on the case. The journalist starts to dig deeper and deeper into the case and also is assaulted by a pair of sick killers. The "Poisoned Penis" makes its first appearance in the film as a couple of sick lunatics look to kill the journalists. It turns out the journalist has a tendency to get the "Poisoned Penis" as a gift. It was fun to see some of the classic horror creatures from the horror/gore genre as well as new monsters as the "Suicide Monk" and the "Pig-Slaughtering Mandragora". It was also cool to see the Japanese residents of Los Angeles in the film and also to see an early scene of a horrific execution with the pig in the hands of the Japanese. One of the best parts of the film was when the "Poisoned Penis" made its debut. The pig is more funny than scary at times. It really made me laugh out loud. This film is great for fans of the horror/gore genre as it will definitely make you jump out of your seat and scream for the next minute or two. The film is a great introduction to the genre and will hopefully inspire people to watch it. I recommend the film to anyone who enjoys this genre. I give this film 9/10 and it is a great film for fans of this genre.

With a title like "Star of the Devils" it would be easy to dismiss this film as simply another Korean horror film. However, it is far from that. The director, Son Ji-woon, and the cast have created a film that is both atmospheric and terrifying. The movie takes place in the late 1980's. When a film student at a university is arrested and accused of murdering his girlfriend, his family and friends go on a frenzy of searching for the truth and he is eventually found guilty of murdering the girl. He then goes on a journey of revenge. He has no knowledge of the girl, but does know her name. When his mother and father go to the house of the man who raped his girlfriend, he is told that his mother was a fan of that guy and that he should not go to the home of the rapist. The man then gets some strange electronic gadgets and when the family meets him at the door, they find a letter, which begins his nightmare. The man's motives are unknown, but as the movie goes on, more and more questions are raised about what is really going on. The most frightening thing about this movie is the slow and deliberate way in which the story is told. The director has created a film that takes place in the dark. The dark and the light, the interior and the exterior, everything is completely chaotic. At one point, the darkness engulfs the room and all of the characters are trying to escape. The color is black, which can be a metaphor for the dark. The director has also used a very unique way of showing the darkness. The characters do not see the light when they are in the dark and everything in the dark seems to be dark. I think the director has done a very good job and has created a film that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a very scary film, and the ending is very good as well.

Dune (1984) was one of the most visually striking films I've ever seen. Directed by cult-movie director George Lucas and starring John Travolta, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which there's an oppressive government and a society of robots. John Wagner (Travolta) is a veteran investigator of the (endlessly brutal) robot rebellion. He soon witnesses a horrific murder and goes into the violent world of the robots. However, he soon finds himself trying to figure out the reasons behind a certain event which has changed his world forever. The majority of the film is in darkness and is shot in a very dark, blue-toned color scheme. In a way it is reminiscent of Tarkovsky's film. In some ways it reminded me of Francis Ford Coppola's GRAVE OF THE VAMPIRE LAND, where the film is actually shot in a similar color scheme. There is an excellent selection of music in the film, especially the score by James Horner and in the opening sequence. If you have ever seen a Sci-Fi film then this is a movie that you should definitely check out. It is by far one of the best films I've seen. It's a highly unusual film that does an amazing job at being a visual treat for the eyes. The visuals are amazing, but they are not over-the-top. The film is dark and atmospheric and just for the fact of the film being so dark, it feels like a film that is done by a more traditional director and the visuals are unique and striking. The film has a great cast and John Travolta gives one of his best performances in this film. I don't know if Travolta was at his best in this film, but he does an amazing job and it shows. He plays a character who is a character that we will probably never know who he is, but he was probably the most intriguing character in the film. Travolta's performance in this film has left an impression on me since I saw it a while back. This is probably one of the best films in my opinion and I hope that I can see it again soon.
