Description London, 1970s. Dr Robert Laing moves into a new high-rise apartment building. It is soon apparent that there is a class-divide between the wealthier upper-floors inhabitants and the middle-class lower-floors tenants. Over time this escalates into full-blown war.

It's nice to see a film that is both technically impressive and emotionally gripping. And the fact that it's a film about a high-rise block in London makes it all the more impressive. The story follows a group of friends on a holiday in London. As the film progresses we see a different group of friends from different backgrounds arrive and the film shows the inner-workings of a small group of friends as they attempt to adjust to life in London. The film is very well-acted, both by the actors and by the production team. I really enjoyed the performances by Kevin Henshall and Iain Glen and enjoyed the performances of the other actors. The film is not really a comedy and does not have a laugh-out-loud kind of humour, but rather a more subtle humour that is very subtle and you will notice it if you are paying close attention. The film is not really a drama and the ending is quite abrupt and leaves you with a very unsatisfied feeling. I would have liked to have seen a little more of the character's lives before the film ended. The acting is superb, but I think the film is over-rated because of the production and the amount of money that was spent on the film. I would recommend this film for people who are looking for a film that is visually stunning and emotional. The film is a film that I would like to see more of and I would like to see more films about London, because I feel that it is a very interesting city and I think that London is an interesting character. I give this film 7/10.
