I saw this film, after hearing good things about it, but it wasn't until I actually sat down and watched it that I truly appreciated what it had to offer. So much so, that I almost forgot about it until I saw it again. It is a fantastic story about a family facing one of the worst tragedies in its history. There is a great focus on the father, played by Bill Paxton, who has gone crazy, as he is feeling so sorry for himself, that he thinks that his son, the movie is about, is simply crazy, even when he has every right to be. This is a film that doesn't try to explain the "why" of the family's terrible tragedy, but rather lets you just go with it and feel for it. The film has a very calm, natural feel, that gives it an emotional realism that I don't often find in movies. There are a few things that I can think of that I would have done differently, and I have to say, that I didn't mind it too much at all. The first and biggest, is the soundtrack. While it may be a bit too cliche, and cliche only, there is an amazing, almost perfect mix of melancholy and melody, that comes off very well. I was impressed by it, and I will probably be buying the soundtrack on the way out. The second and probably biggest thing, that I did change, is the ending. In the beginning of the film, I thought, that the ending would be great, because it was going to be an uplifting, uplifting ending. But after the film started, I thought that it would be too forced. But the ending, in my opinion, is perfect, and I really recommend it. The film is wonderful, and while it may not be a great film, I think that it is a wonderful film, that could be watched again and again. I can't say that it will stand up to the brilliance of "Citizen Kane", but it is very good.

If you are a fan of the original, this one is hard to pass up. However, if you are not a fan of the original, this one will be of little value. The original film was both tragic and humorous and each new film, based on the original premise, is a fresh look at the tragedy and has a little more humor. (For instance, the Grandpa character is a lot more funny than the grandpa from the original.) This one also has some humor but it's not really so much as to be funny and some of the situations are just ridiculous. Nevertheless, the overall movie is good. The cast is fantastic, with some of the best comedic performances. But, they're not really very funny. The story is about a man, who is having a hard time trying to get through a mid-life crisis, and the effects that having that crisis has on his relationships. He has to deal with the death of his wife, who passed away a year before. He also has to deal with his ex-wife, who has remarried. There are some good moments, but not much more than that. The story is far from original, but it is very well done, with some great acting performances. This is also not a very romantic film, even though it tries to be, because the relationship between the man and his son is the focus of the movie. They do a nice job of doing that though. The story is not particularly deep or even particularly interesting. The drama of the story is simply there because of the situation. But, that is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that it isn't very funny. The comedy is very average, and some of the jokes are just very very bad. The cast has some really great comedic talents, but it just doesn't work. The acting, overall, is okay. There are a few funny moments and the actors are not all that bad, but the comedy is very average. They don't do the comedy well. It just isn't funny. It is not as bad as some people say. This one is not a complete waste of time. It is very worth seeing if you like the original.
