I first saw this film when it came out in theaters in '84 and it was the first time I actually laughed out loud. I can't remember the last time I laughed at something so hard. The rest of the film was just as good, but I never really got a chance to really feel the passion between the two. The music was also excellent. I haven't seen the soundtrack since then, but I heard that it was good. Now that I have it, I can't help but think about it. I remember seeing this film when I was a kid and I would listen to it over and over. I would have been 6 or 7 years old when I first saw it and it really made an impression on me. I loved the film, but I had to look over to see if it was still available on video. That's when I discovered it was a part of the VHS release. I watched it again with my girlfriend and we both felt the same way I did. It really was a great film and I think that this is probably the best comedy ever made. The actors were all great. The movie really should have been nominated for an Academy Award, but it was not. It should have been nominated for Best Picture, but it wasn't. I think that was the right decision. It was nominated for Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Film Editing. It should have won Best Picture, but it was not. I think that's a good thing. I think that it was a very well done movie and I would recommend it to anyone. It is one of the best comedies ever made and I think it is one of the best films of the 1990's. 10/10
