Barry Sloane is a man with a secret. He is afraid to show it. He lives with a woman, a few days away from her family, who seems to be growing restless with the ritual of monogamy. Now, Barry is being forced to reveal the secret - to his wife. After years of being a good husband, he is now being forced to acknowledge his real feelings for his wife, especially since he finds himself attracted to a young woman, Julia. His plan is to tell her the secret that he has concealed from his wife, so that he could move on with his life and be with the woman he loves. And at the same time, he must take care of his wife, and keep his secret. There is some dramatic elements here. A marriage has gone sour for a while. A person feels lonely, and no one seems to like them. I read somewhere that people have changed their names to avoid getting married. The husband just couldn't take his wife's way of behaving anymore. The wife, on the other hand, feels trapped in this unhappy marriage. I don't want to spoil the movie by going into all the details, but let me just say that the story is not very clear. The plot of the movie doesn't help, so I'd like to say something here about the screenplay. My impression is that it is lacking something, though. Barry Sloane does a pretty good job with the script, but it just isn't interesting enough. It's a typical male Hollywood movie, without any of the big stars that other movies are made of. The music, the cinematography and the costumes do do the job, but you have to have a certain taste for a story to really be interested in it. The beginning is okay, but the middle is a little boring, and it does get a bit confusing after a while. The ending is a little disappointing, but it is a bit better than the movie would have been. Overall, this is a good movie that is worth a watch, but the story is not very interesting, and the script just isn't good enough to make it memorable. 6/10

Most of the things that I liked about this movie are it's beautiful cinematography, its acting, and the story. The story starts off as a "depression" story, and slowly it opens up to be a (very) twisted look at the relationship between two dysfunctional families. It's not a movie you can take your kids to watch, unless you want them to see two people fail. I had a few problems with the story. First off, some of the characters seemed to not even be friends, like they just decided to spend time with one another. The second problem was the way the daughter and the husband are portrayed. It was very clear that the wife, like the daughter, was jealous of the wife's success. Although she was so jealous of the success of the daughter, that she made up all of the drama that the daughter suffered from. The wife was probably the most selfish of the three, and seemed to only want the daughter to succeed, not the other two. The daughter, while very intelligent and a very capable young woman, was selfish, and not capable of caring for any other human being. The final problem was that some of the characters seemed so emotionally shallow. Like the husband was an egotistical jerk and was only showing his ego to the daughter. The daughter was the spoiled brat and even more selfish than the husband. Finally, the story seemed a little too thin, but I could not really blame the screenplay writers for that. In general, it was a good film, and it was very well worth my money. I will admit that I have never seen a better depiction of a dysfunctional family, and of what it is like to be divorced.

In a very real sense, "The Wife" is not a movie for everyone. It's not an intellectual story, nor is it a film for those who are easily offended by many kinds of sexual content. There is no talking about sex, only the depiction of sex. That's not a bad thing, but some viewers may be disturbed by some of the depictions. It is obvious that much of the story is based on the real life events of Paul and Sharon, a close-knit family who is trapped in a car crash and in a downward spiral of self-destructive behavior. Sharon, the leading role, is a divorced mother of four, including a mentally retarded child, who left the family that she adored, to move in with her troubled ex-husband. Paul, the husband, is the lead in a seemingly normal, family-oriented job. But Paul is his own worst enemy, for he is all his life a violent, selfish, and destructive man. Paul is of a kind that few people have the courage to discuss in their own words. For example, he leaves his wife and children to go out and party, and his co-workers and neighbors tell him he is a dirty bastard, but he still comes back. It is not that difficult to understand the reasons for his actions and behaviors, but it is important to see how he thinks and behaves. I was convinced that this is a man who would never allow others to talk about his troubled and conflicted life, but to me, he is as bad as anyone else. The scene where the couple is driving to a party, and Paul tells his wife, "I don't care if you are a coward. I don't care if you sleep with another man, because I don't know who you are. I don't know what makes you tick. I don't know what drives you crazy. I don't care." He explains the motivations behind his actions and their consequences. At one point, he tells his wife, "You can take my life, or I'll take yours." It is hard to listen to someone talk about someone else and then be convinced that they really hate each other. To me, the father's behavior seemed completely vindictive and inappropriate, and the situation became even worse for his wife. On the other hand, I can't imagine that anyone would take the actions and life of Sharon very seriously. She is a healthy mother and wife, who is trying to be a good wife and mother to her troubled daughter. I'm sure that Sharon is a very good mother. I think she is intelligent and attentive to her family and friends. However, I don't think that she can remain a loving wife to her husband for very long. I think she has been neglecting her husband for a long time, and will have a very hard time coming to terms with what has happened. In the end, the woman is not going to stop being a good mother and wife, and the son, while not behaving well, will never act like a menace. I think that there are some people who think that Sharon can get better and that she deserves her husband's forgiveness. The viewer must decide for himself. It seems to me that she is a victim of many factors, and she can't change what has happened to her.

The story is about a man who's wife has given birth to a baby boy, which seems a long time. But he suddenly can't find the time to talk to the woman. So he flies to the country of his birth to find a good doctor, a nice woman, a nice father. But when he arrives in the country, the woman, the father and the doctor are all gone, because they have been killed by the Vietcong in the war. The movie ends with a confrontation between the husband and the woman. The first part is pretty simple: it's a story about a man with a woman, a story about life and death. The story is a bit repetitive but this is really the main point. In the first part, the husband is isolated. He can't meet anyone, can't even talk to the woman. This situation is repeated over and over again, but the message of the first part of the movie is the same as in the last: to go out and live life to the fullest and to make your dreams come true. The second part is a bit different, but is probably the most interesting part. It starts with a strange scene: the husband and the woman are sitting in a plane where they hear voices and they hear the crying of a baby. At the same time they see the plane crash into a mountainside. They scream, scream, scream. At this moment the baby's father is killed, and the husband kills the baby. The last scene is pretty good too. In the second part, the husband discovers the secret of the baby. He tries to bring it to the doctor and he succeeds. After the last scene the movie ends with a note that the movie was a success and the audience has heard the words 'The baby was delivered'. And I think that was the best part of the movie. All in all, it's a good movie. It may not be the best movie you ever see, but it is a good movie. My vote is seven. Title (Brazil): "A y Babo da Mais" ("The Lover and the Baby")

The most famous (and likely worst) film of the decade so far is this film. Based on the novel by Alison Weir, The Wife is about a young and beautiful but idealistic girl named Sarah (who has been raised by an abusive father) who moves into a wealthy man's home after a poor performance in school. After discovering the real estate agent she has been eyeing, she immediately starts spying on him and getting more and more involved with the wealthy properties, but slowly learns that he is more than he seems. He offers her "benefits" to allow her to move into his house and spend all her money on him, which Sarah accepts, but begins to get more and more frustrated with the arrangement. She doesn't seem to be able to make the best of the situation, and it is at this point that Sarah really starts to question her existence and her life. I saw this film on cable, and I didn't know anything about it. It looks like a low budget film with a good concept, but it's not the best film I've seen in a long time. While the premise is decent, the film suffers from being very predictable and the writing is very choppy at times. I can't say that it is a bad film. It is only the weakest film of the year so far. If you like low-budget films like Pretty Little Liars and American Horror Story, you should see this film. It's not great, but it is at least interesting enough to keep you interested. I gave it a 6.0/10. If you enjoyed the premise of the film, you will definitely enjoy the performances. All actors were believable and believable in their roles. The performances of Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman, Kate Beckinsale, and Laura Linney were exceptional, and the supporting actors (especially Johnny Lee Miller and Rachel Weisz) were great as well. There are some bad scenes in this film, but the film does have its moments.
