Meanwhile, a new threat rises as the evil Hela, Goddess of Death (Cate Blanchett) takes over Asgard and plans to conquer the universe. In order to get home, Thor must compete in a gladiator match against the defending champion of the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). Little does Thor know is that the champion is his old friend and fellow Avenger, The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). Teaming with The Incredible Hulk and his deceptive brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor must return home to Asgard in time to stop Hela and prevent the approaching Ragnarök, the apocalyptic destruction of Asgard.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of Marvel's movies, I think the last one I saw was the Avengers 2, which I found pretty lame and I thought that The Avengers 2 was a letdown. However, I have to admit that I actually quite enjoyed the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. I found it to be a decent addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and as such I can't really fault the film for anything. It's been a while since I've seen the original Guardians of the Galaxy, but the movie was still entertaining. I thought that the action sequences were done well and there were plenty of laughs. As a big fan of the comic book character, I think that the movie was well done. The movie was full of action and adventure and the CGI and special effects were not what I would consider to be CGI. I liked that they added the humor and a bit of romance in the movie. In my opinion, I thought that the plot was a bit too complicated and not all that believable. I also felt that the humor was a bit too forced. The main characters were all great and I thought that the supporting characters were also great. I did not find the romance to be a big part of the film and it was just a little too forced. I also thought that the character development was a bit too simplistic. The one exception to this would be the character of Drax. He was a very likable character and he was the best part of the film. I thought that the character development was the only thing that was lacking. All in all, I thought that the movie was entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Marvel's movies. I would also recommend that you go and see the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 first, as I felt that it was better than the original. This movie is definitely worth seeing.
