A really nice movie, perhaps too much loved by the fans of Tamil cinema. After watching this, I have now identified myself with the film. After the repeated viewing, I noticed several aspects of the film which are worth elaborating. I have read a lot of reviews from others and this is the only film which I feel we need to hear about. For the first time in my life, I had a particular reason to go to the cinema and watch this. I wanted to watch the film and experience the magic of the movie in a way, that I have never experienced before. And I am glad that I did not do so at any other time. The story is quite unusual, and I feel it would be something to watch with a lot of friends, as it is entertaining for everyone, irrespective of gender. The film is about a girl who is bored of life and her father's attempt to get her to be more involved in her life, in his sister's place. A girl who is confined to a house and who has not found the friend she needs in her life. But she is very good at reciting the poetry, which she wishes to pass on to the next generation. And then the girl's father sends her to an orphanage for the 'senseless life'. She is treated as a child and she learns to play the piano. She becomes so good at her new role, that the father is persuaded to take her back to live with her sister. Then she is back to her old life and finds a friend in her brother, whom she felt needed her more than her father. She forgives him and finds a new friend in her father. I personally felt that the film was written in a very light hearted way. There is no political or religious slant to it. The only thing it has is a good and funny story. The acting is also quite good. A very good script makes for a good film and I hope more films like this one will come in the future. The girl who recited the poems was a little bit beautiful and so was the father and his son, who also recited poetry. There was one person who did not have an interesting role, but I am glad he is not in the film anymore, so we can forget him. All in all, I think the film is very interesting, and hopefully, the release of the film in the theatres will be the sign that we need to stop writing reviews of the movie. I have given it an 8/10.
