A buddy cop film that keeps you guessing and yet never gives you any closure on what's going on. "A Bigger Splash" is definitely one of the best films of 2011 so far and is definitely worth a watch. Johnny Flynn (Matt Damon) and Mark Sutton (Michael Pena) are a pair of bumbling yet protective cops that are just trying to do their job as a group. One night, they're teamed up with a rookie rookie cop named Peter (Alexander Skarsgard), and they make the first case of their careers. After a long night of traffic, they accidentally bring a drunken trucker in and he ends up in the hospital. They are then dragged in by a group of violent thugs and the trio of cops are forced to take him to prison. After hearing that he's going to be released from prison in two months, they take him in and make an agreement to not let him go until he starts making a better name for himself. He gets a letter to be released from prison from the woman he loves that's been in prison since his arrest, so he decides to break out of the prison and find her before she's released. I feel like there are a lot of messages that are being sent in the film. It's about looking at the mistakes we make in life and trying to make better ones. In this case, the heroes are making the best of their mistakes and we know this because the movie gives you a lot of information on why the mistakes happen and what can be done to fix the problem. "A Bigger Splash" is a heart-warming movie that is entertaining and a must-see for fans of Matt Damon and Michael Pena.

This film really puts the right amount of drama, suspense and drama all rolled into one. Most importantly, the romance was also very believable. There are some parts that are a bit slow for the average movie goer, but there are also parts that move along at a good pace. I recommend this film to anyone who is looking for a great story of a relationship and a little more drama than your typical love story. The only downfall I could find with this film was the editing. For the first time in my life, I watched the film a second time (which is rare for me). The first time I watched the film, I thought it was terrible. The editing was very choppy and there was a lot of moments where I just stopped the film for a second. I was quite impressed with the second time I watched it. There were parts that were better edited and therefore the first viewing seemed a bit rushed and confusing. However, I'm happy to say that after watching it a second time, the editing doesn't affect my opinion of the film. The performances are very realistic and believable. The chemistry between Billy Crudup and Halle Berry is great. Also, I really liked the casting for this film. The performances were great from all the actors, and I couldn't have asked for more from them. All the actresses in the film were very good and believable. The actors didn't overact and I was very impressed by the acting from the actors. They all did a great job. The camera work is fantastic. There was a lot of long shots that I thought were very good. The film's cinematography is brilliant. All the shots were very interesting and very well thought out. Also, the music really did fit perfectly with the scenes and helped enhance the drama in this film. Overall, this film is very good, very believable and it kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire runtime of the film. Highly recommended!

a film that will please a certain type of viewer.the young and very dark minded will love it.the rest will probably not like it.it's a real atmospheric, psychological thriller and also features a good performance from a very talented actor, well done in every aspect.the film is about the mysterious disappearance of a young school teacher named Joanne who has just left a new school, Joanne was described by her boyfriend as 'stupid', but she is now a little more confident and outgoing.Joanne is found in an apartment in Manhattan, she is wearing a black and white polka dot skirt and a red and white blouse, she has her hair down to her chest. The first thing that the audience notices is that Joanne has a few scratches on her neck. The police believe that she is dead, but she is alive, and asks Joanne for a lift.I'll admit, she doesn't look the part, but she did a good job, and I'm happy she won the Best Actress Award at the Golden Globes for her performance. Her boyfriend calls her a 'crazy slut', but she soon grows to like him, and after the New Year he calls her a 'chick', she says that 'It's OK'.But Joanne is soon kidnapped, the boyfriend suspects that she might be dead. They must find Joanne before she's kidnapped again. They also investigate what she's doing in the city. The climax is very unexpected, a very difficult film to describe.it's an unusual, disturbing and fascinating film, that will leave the audience shocked and on the edge of their seats.it's a very good thriller that is suspenseful and interesting.I rate this film 9/10, the best of the year.

This was a very disturbing, eerie, and rather self-indulgent movie. I didn't expect it to be so much like B+M, but it turned out to be so much like B+M. I like movies like B+M, but this was just kind of creepy. I've seen a lot of movies in my time, and I've seen many dark, dark movies. This movie was so much like B+M. It had a very dark, disgusting, almost gross feel to it. The ending of B+M felt more like "I can't believe this" than "Oh, that was so surreal, I could hardly breathe. What a bizarre experience!". This one, however, was just more like "Wow, that was weird, but what the heck". I was really surprised to see the gross out factor that this movie had. It was almost on a level with Gattaca. The guy in the movie was so grossed out that he was actually able to relate to the characters in the movie. This was not one of those "Grossed Out" movies that's just for people that like gross out movies. It was a very dark, disturbing, and very disturbing movie. It had an almost gross out feel to it, and I couldn't help but think "Oh, God, this is really horrible." I can't say I didn't like it, but it was a different movie to me. This movie was like a porno flick, but instead of having sex, it was pretty good. I really enjoyed it. This movie definitely deserved to be nominated for Best Picture and won a lot more than I thought it would. It deserved to win a lot more than I thought it would. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I definitely thought it deserved to win the Oscar. It's not "awesome" but it was quite disturbing. Overall, I really liked this movie. It was kind of odd, but it was weird, disturbing, and I liked it.
