Famously released by the BBC in 1980, this documentary about the first World War I German submarine attack on the English Channel was a landmark in the history of the British submarine, as it was the first time that the ship was used for a sub-hunting mission. The film covers the attacks by the German U-boat U-65 in the summer of 1917, with the German crew's attempts to evade British and French naval forces. The German sub was never in danger of sinking but the crew was severely damaged, and the submarine was sunk within hours. The sub was one of only two subs to be sunk in the war. The crew was determined to make it to the surface. The submarine was not manned by a crew of officers and crew, and was made up of a couple of men who were not military, and their wives and children. The sub was about 3 meters long, and was never manned by a crew of officers and crew. The sub was very well-armed, and in fact had an automatic pistol on the gun deck. The sub's gun was loaded with live ammunition, and the crew's attempts to avoid being shot by the British and French navy led to the sub being shot down by the British and French navy. The sub was found and towed to its new location. The sub was used for the first sub-hunting mission in the history of the British submarine, and it was the first sub ever to sink a German submarine. The film was very well-made. The director, Sir George Martin, also produced the film, which was shown on the BBC in 1980. The sub was the last submarine to be sunk in the war, and it was the most successful submarine of the war. The submarine was sunk on the 15th of May, 1918, at around 20:00 hours. The submarine was a four-man vessel, and was manned by the crew of two. The sub was sunk by a British warship. The sub was destroyed by the British navy on the 15th of May, 1918.
